Our chiropractors at The Tx Room are among the most highly trained providers in the area of orthopedics and sports injuries when it comes to conservative treatment. They have dedicated their lives to understanding how the body works and heals so that they can better serve their patients. This dedication has translated into treatment outcomes that consistently exceed what is thought of as normal. Helping our patients recover faster and return to their favorite activities is what drives us each day. We pride ourselves on not only what we accomplish in the professional setting, but also in the community.
Fascial Distortion Model (FDM) – It’s actually a treatment model in which virtually all soft tissue injuries, or musculoskeletal complaints, are viewed through 1 or more of the 6 different types of alterations to the body’s connective tissues. The patient’s verbal and physical descriptions, coupled with the mechanism of injury and relevant orthopedic tests, will lead the practitioner to the proper form of soft tissue treatment and/or spinal/extremity adjustments.
Dry Needling – the use of either solid filiform needles (also referred to as acupuncture needles) or hollow-core hypodermic needles for therapy of muscle pain, including pain related to myofascial pain syndrome.
Myofascial Acoustic Compression Therapy (MyACT) – A sound approach to treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain. MyACT (AKA Focused Shockwave) is used in the treatment of acute and chronic pain in muscles, tendons and joints. MyACT uses the acoustic waves to target tissues at varying depths by compressing and manipulating the tissue, resulting in a focused, precise, deep tissue treatment. The results of the mechanical stimuli delivered by MyACT can lead to improved circulation and pain relief – key components in the healing process.
